Fläche / Weinberg:
Weinbaugebiet Amyndeon “Igel” in 690 m Seehöhe Nördliche Richtung mit Blick auf den See Petron und den Voras Berg.

Weinbereitung / Alterung:
Kaltmazeration in indifferenter Umgebung. Alkoholgärung bei kontrollierter Temperatur. Achtmonatige Lagerung des Weins auf dem Hefelager bei periodischem Vermengen. Anfangs 12 Monate in französischen, mittelporigen, leicht ausgebrannten Eichenfässern. Weiters mindestens 14 Monate in Flaschen bis zum Verkauf.



Geschmackseigenschaften:
Tiefrote Farbe. Komplexes Bukett von charakteristischen Blumen- und Gewürzaromen (Vanille, Pfeffer, Gewürznelken), mit Tönen von Himbeere, getrockneter Tomate und getrockneten Feigen. Voll im Mund, mit Vanillearoma, reiche Struktur, ausgewogene Säure, eichenholzbetont, mit einem intensiven Quittenaroma beim Abgang.

Harmonie:
Begleitet harmonisch saftige Fleischbraten, deftige Wurstsorten, rote, gebratene Paprikaschoten, Hasenbraten in Zwiebelsauce, Fleisch in Tomatensauce, pikante Strudeln und pikante Hartkäsesorten.

Optimale Trinktemperatur:
